Chocolate Planet
This week, we wrote shopping lists and calculated the cost of the ingredients we needed to buy. We worked hard to apply our knowledge of column method to add the amounts together and find the total. We then took our shopping lists on our trip as to Lidl to buy our ingredients. Our teachers were very impressed with how sensible we were during our shopping trips and how we used reciprocity to buy our ingredients as a team.
'The cream has 300ml and we need 200ml' - Hope
'The butter is 200g and we need 30g so that is more than enough' - Ibukun
'I like scanning the shopping on the till, I help my mum to do this' - George
