The Year One Team
We are delighted to inform you that a trip to Barleylands has been booked for our Year 1 pupils. We will be starting an exciting new topic called ‘Scrum-diddly-umptious!’. As part of this topic, they will be visiting Barleylands and taking part in a workshop called ‘From field to fork’ on Thursday 7th July 2022.
The children will be travelling by coach and will need to arrive in school promptly at 8:30am. We will be leaving school at 9:00am. The children are required to wear school uniform. Please ensure that all children have appropriate footwear and a waterproof coat. The weather is likely to be warm so please ensure your child has a sun hat and sun cream has been applied.
We will be eating lunch at Barleylands, all children will need to bring a packed lunch in a named disposable bag; this should not include fizzy drinks or glass bottles. Should your child require a school lunch please complete the preferences form below. All lunch orders to be completed by Monday 20th June 2022, so we can process your order in time. Thank you.
We will be leaving Barleylands at 2:00pm and will return for the end of school. The children will need to be collected from outside their classrooms as normal. Should we get delayed on the return journey we will contact the school office and inform them of our new time of arrival.
We are asking for a contribution of £12 which will go towards the cost of the coach and the workshop the children will be attending. Below are the prices for the day:
Barleylands Child ticket- £13.00 per child (£1170)
Cost of coach- £739.00
The £12 contribution will need to be paid through your ‘sQuid’ account. Any questions regarding this payment, please see the School Office.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs Gradley Mrs Fayefunmi Miss Myers
