Year 1 Trip to St. Andrew’s Church 

Year 1 got into the Christmas spirit visiting St Andrews Church. They learnt all about how Christians celebrate Christmas as part of their RE topic.The children were very excited to be able to look around the church and they even got a chance to ring the bells! They visited the Nativity scene and listened to the Nativity story. Some children were lucky enough to light the advent candles. They discussed how we have been learning about Christmas and the ways in which people celebrate it.
