Future Architects

Look at the fantastic skyscraper the children in Year 1 built on Friday. They planned the activity themselves, worked co-operatively and showed resilience to try and make it as tall as possible! Balancing thin blocks isn't as easy as it looks, the children discovered through exploring the materials that the tower had to be symmetrical to balance and blocks had to be carefully placed in exactly the right position.
