Year One Celebration Certificates- Week 6








Week 6 Certificates 




E for E - Veer classified animals as birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals and fish. Your teacher enjoyed reading your writing about fish, describing them as being cold blooded and using their fins to swim and gills to breathe. Well done Veer!




E for E - Olivia, for her focus and hard work at home this week. Olivia has consistently tried hard with all her home learning, in particular producing an excellent piece of writing about Kevin the Carrot. 



Well done to Ollie, for working incredibly hard during his RWI lessons and always trying his best in his Friday spelling test. Ollie has continued to work hard on his spellings during home learning, posting his efforts on Google.









Star Writer - Elena, for your super writing about birds and describing reptiles as having scales. Elena used her phonetic knowledge to sound out the words. Well done Elena!


                                                     

Star Writer - Ava, for her beautiful piece of writing about Kevin the Carrot. Ava, was able to clearly retell the story and explain her favourite part, well done Ava!





Congratulations to Sophie for her writing about Kevin the Carrot. Sophie posted her amazing hard work on Google Classroom. She sounded out carefully and included a conjunction and adjective in her sentence. Great job, Sophie!


The 4 Rs



Resilience - Abdulahad, for his fantastic work this week on his 2 times tables. Abulahad practised his number formation by writing out his timetables and also shaded the numbers on a number line - great job Abdulahad!





Resourcefulness - Eesa for your writing about Kevin the Carrot and how you liked the part when Santa was flying to the Moon with Kevin. Well done Eesa!

                                               



Reciprocity - Tianna-Louise showed a wonderful attitude to the home learning and read stories to her baby sister, including a book about Colours. Well done Tianna-Louise!

                                                      

Resourcefulness - Victoria, for sharing your learning at home with your parents and asking them to tell you more about adjectives as we had been learning to use adjectives in class. It is super to hear this feedback when speaking to your parents. Well done Victoria! 

                                                         


Resilience - Elsie, has been working through her Maths booklet and completed tests on the topics of one more one less and addition. Well done Elsie!

                                             



Resilience- Zayd, for his hard work learning all the continents and the oceans. Miss Chappel really enjoyed your video you posted on google classroom. She was not only impressed with your knowledge but also the confident way you delivered it. Well done, Zayd.
