Christmas countdown!

The children in Year 2 have been enjoying counting down to Christmas! They have learned songs and lines for their performance, learned about the Nativity story, investigated how we celebrate Christmas in our country, made cards and wreathes and even had a little naughty elf visitor each day!

Today the children enjoyed a Christmas party with food, drinks and party games.

We look forward to having you back tomorrow for our final day of festivities! Happy Christmas everyone!

Pine Class' trip to Jump Evolution!

Pine Class' trip to Jump Evolution!

Due to their fantastic attendance this term, Pine Class won a trip to Jump Evolution! The children arrived at school very excited for their morning of bouncing! They spent the morning jumping, diving into the foam pit and even swinging from the enormous swing. Everybody had lots of fun and it was a very exciting morning to finish off the term.Well done on your brilliant attendance Pine Class! Keep up the good work completing your first pupil job  - turn up to school everyday on time.

Division in Year 2

The children have been super busy the last 2 weeks, learning how to multiply and divide.  They are beginning to use different methods to solve multiplication and division problems, such as sharing in groups, checking which multiplication table the number is in and using the inverse to find the answers.
The children have also been busy applying their knowledge to solve tricky word problems and choosing which method they prefer as well as checking their answers using at least two different methods.
Well done Year 2!

Dear Parents/Carers,

Thank you very much for those who have sent in costumes already. The children are very excited for their performance on Monday.

We have an extra request for the boys in the year group... Could you please send in a tea towel along with the dark t-shirt and trousers.

Bedtime Stories- THIS FRIDAY!!!!

Dear Parents/Carers,

We are very excited about this Friday's Bedtime Stories! We hope to see as many of you there as possible. 

Doors will open at 5pm. Children are invited to wear their pajamas and bring a teddy along with them. It will be a magical evening, filled with Christmas festivity.
