Division in Year 2

The children have been super busy the last 2 weeks, learning how to multiply and divide.  They are beginning to use different methods to solve multiplication and division problems, such as sharing in groups, checking which multiplication table the number is in and using the inverse to find the answers.
The children have also been busy applying their knowledge to solve tricky word problems and choosing which method they prefer as well as checking their answers using at least two different methods.
