Pine enjoy Build - a -Bear

On Tuesday morning, Pine Class set off to Westfield for a Build - a - Bear workshop. Travelling by train was a new experience for lots of our children and one they certainly enjoyed. Arriving at Build - a- Bear, greetings awaited us from a very excited 'Coolio'.

Firstly, the children got to choose their bear.  Then they were each given a heart to kiss and make a wish before hiding them inside their bears. 'Coolio' then got the children to repeat the 'Build - a - Bear promise' before stuffing their bears.

Once their bears were stuffed, it was time to choose a name and make a certificate.

After the excitement of making their bears, Mrs Stanley got to make a class Bear. Undecided by the choices given, Pine Class helped out and chose a black and white dog, wisely named 'Spot'.

Look out for our class bear as we will be sending him home with the children on a weekly basis after half term.

The finale of the day was taking part in the Build- a- Bear march around the store.

As always the children behaved impeccably - We had a Pawsome time!!!
