Challenging Maths

We have been encouraging the children to challenge themselves independently in Key Stage 1. After learning about reading two digit numbers and finding out how many tens and units were in the numbers a challenge was left in the maths area. These children helped Bob the builder to gather the correct amount of bricks by carefully reading the numbers. Some children even challenged themselves to partition three digit numbers. Well done Year 1!
