Year 1 Awards

 

 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Apricot:.Lillian

Lillian has been showing her knowledge and understanding of numbers in maths. Lillian takes on challenges when asked and can complete her work independently. 




Beech: Lama 

For working hard in Literacy to write in past tense and include adjectives. Keep up the good work 



Walnut: Alice

For always trying her best in every lesson, Alice is following job number 2 and putting lots of effort into her work. She is also working more independently! Fantastic job, keep it up.




  Star Writers 


Apricot: Amelia

Amelia has had a great week of writing! She has shown her phonic knowledge when writing and shared her fantastic ideas and vocabulary. 




Beech:  Emir 

For working hard in Phonics to include set 2 and 3 sounds in his writing and independently editing his work. Well done Emir, you are working extremely hard.  



Walnut: Luca

Luca has been using awesome adjectives in his literacy this week, he created his own villain character and used the adjectives to describe his characters personality and appearance. Luca also worked independently! Excellent work, keep it up.



Learning Power Awards

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life. 


Reciprocity

These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others. 


Issac and Aadvik for creating a shape maths challenge and encouraging the children in Beech class to complete it 


Reflectiveness 

These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning. 


This has been awarded to:

Neveah- For sharing her ideas more clearly and confidently when talking and sharing ideas on the carpet.



Resilience

These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in.


Luna

Luna was awarded this certificate by Ms Float during Forest school for watching an adult demonstrate a technique carefully and then following the instruction independently. Well done Luna!




Eliza - Eliza continues to show resilience by managing distractions around her. Eliza sits independently to write and produces great work and beautiful handwriting. 


Resourcefulness

These children have used the resources in the classroom and outside to plan, design and create marvellous creations.

Kotryna- For trying super hard with her literacy, making sure her handwriting is neat and tidy and sitting on the line.
