Finley has been working hard at home making a dinosaur to go along with our topic in class. He used empty boxes and papier-mâché for this Tyrannosaurus Rex. Forks for the front feet was a wonderfully inspired idea!

Nelson Mandela
This afternoon Mulberry class learned about Nelson Mandela and the legacy he left behind in South Africa. We learned that the flag represented a new start for South Africa and we made our own flags to take home.

Independent Writers
We are encouraging children in Year 1 to use their writing skills independently inside and outside. These children have been busy applying their writing skills today. Well done!
