Teddy Bear's Picnic

On the first day of term Pine class found a teddy bear sitting outside the classroom. He looked very cold so we took him inside and read the letter he had with him. After reading the letter we discovered teddy was lost so we decided to look after him until his owners could come to the rescue.

We used our adjectives to create wanted posters for the teddy bear and when nobody came to the rescue we even made maps of the school so he could find his way around.

As teddy was still lost we decided the best way to cheer him up was to throw him a teddy bears picnic! We wrote invitations to our own teddy bears, designed and created sandwiches for the picnic and learnt the teddy bear's picnic song. On Friday all of our teddy bears came to school to join in the fun. Everyone had a great time eating sandwiches, playing games and singing songs.
