Fun at the Circus

We had great fun learning circus skills with Doody the clown today. The children are now experts at plate spinning, balancing feathers and ribbon twirling. There were even some enthusiastic parents who stayed to learn circus skills after school!

Mulberry class had great fun trying to balance feathers on different parts of their bodies. We balanced colourful peacock feathers on our hands, fingers, chins and elbows.

Plate spinning was difficult at first, but we showed resilience and kept on trying until we could do it!

We made lots of circular shapes using the ribbons. It was funny when some people got tangled up. We also had to undo lots of knots at the end.

Cedar class are fantastic at balancing feathers on their hands. We found it much harder to balance the feathers on our noses.

We found plate spinning much harder, but after several attempts it became easier.

Using the ribbons was great fun and we were able to make lots of different patterns with them.
