Literacy
This week we have been completing story maps of Pattan’s Pumpkin.
Next week, we will be writing our own stories based on Pattan’s Pumpkin.
Maths
This week we have been using vocabulary such as, greater than, less than and equal to when comparing amounts. We have also been learning about how numbers can be represented using numerals and words.
Next week we are going to be recapping what we have learnt throughout the term.

RE
In RE, we have been learning about the Jewish festival of Hanukkah. Jewish people celebrate Hanukkah every year for 8 days, this year it is from 28th November to 6th December

Forest School
Beech Class had a great morning exploring using their senses. They did the barefoot trail using their feet to feel various different items from nature. The sand was a favourite but the sticks were not! We made spinning plates with a range of textures from what they could find around. They used binoculars to watch the birds and made them feeders to help out in these winter months.
