Week 13 Home learning - Year 2
Good morning everyone,
We hope everyone is well and ready for Week 13 Home Learning!
We will be sending out school reports by email on Wednesday 8th July. This will come from the shared Year 1 and Year 2 mailbox. Please bear with us as we are using one mailbox to send out 180 reports. We are using the email address you have provided the school with.
We can't believe it is nearly that time in the year. Each year we talk about how quickly it has flown by, but this year id definitely very unique! But it is exciting times for our lovely Year Two children! Teachers and classes will be announced on Friday. Below is a form where your child can ask any questions they have about Year 3. We will then put a video together answering all of the questions. We look forward to seeing what they what to know!

Please continue to practice the 2, 3, 5 and 10 times tables daily. There are videos on YouTube that your child can join in with.

We cannot stress enough how important reading with your child each day is.
We understand that with home learning trying to fit everything in will be a challenging task in itself.
Please can we ask that if possible, you prioritise reading every day, even if its just for 10 minutes.

Oxford Owl reading website are offering free access to their books online. The children will be familiar with these books as it is already part of our readings scheme. Children learning to blend and read simple words such as ‘cat’ or ‘went will be learning Set 1 sounds
and reading Ditty or red books.

and facts. There are also some quizzes the children can take part in.

grown-ups can tune in every morning at 11am- and it's all free. To tune in click on link below:

also a bank of child friendly resources on their website, ranging from activities and worksheets
