Cherry at Tesco.

Children thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Tesco this week. We were lucky enough to go into areas the general public do not get to see in a shop we all visit, and know so well.

Children tasted new foods, made their own bread, saw where deliveries were accepted and even went into a -9 degree freezer! Brrrr!!

Take look at some of the photos...

Fun at Tescos.

Cedar had a fantastic time at Tesco today. First made our own bread. We found out 500 loaves of bread are made in Tescos every day.
Next we tasted lots of different food including chicken tikka, feta cheese, salami and olives.
Then we looked at the different fish in the fish counter and held a fish.
We went into a big freezer which was -9 and stored all the frozen food.
Finally we enjoyed a drink and hot cross bun in the cafe.
Tomorrow the other half of Cedar visit Tesco. Look out for the photos.

Poem: The World’s fastest bicycle by Kenn Nesbitt

My bicycle's the fastest
that the world has ever seen;
it has supersonic engines
and a flame-retardant sheen.

My bicycle will travel
a gazillion miles an hour --
it has rockets on the handlebars
for supplemental power.

The pedals both are jet-propelled
to help you pedal faster,
and the shifter is equipped
with an electric turbo-blaster.

The fender has a parachute
in case you need to brake.
Yes, my bike is undeniably
the fastest one they make.

My bicycle's incredible!
I love the way it feels,
and I'll like it even more
when Dad removes the training wheels.
