Mulberry's Show and Tell

Today Mulberry class were fascinated by some special objects that members of the class had brought in to share. The children who were sharing had the opportunity to sit in the teachers chair, and were fantastic at answering questions about their special things.

Liam Bovell brought in his (recently deceased) tarantula to show us. Liam explained where the spider lived when he was alive (thankfully in a locked cage!) and spoke about how it moved around. The class loved the opportunity to examine close up the different colours of the spider, and we are going to do more research about why the spider had a purple stripe across his back!

Finley Livingstone shared his newly acquired karate red belt which he received this weekend. He also had a shiny gold medal! We were really impressed by the effort that Finley puts into his karate practice.

Libby Northwood shared a beautiful sand art racoon picture that she made this weekend. She had put a great deal of care into choosing the beautiful colours and making sure she didn't go over the lines!
Arianna Solomon shared this beautiful landscape that her and her Mum worked together to create this weekend. She was able to explain how she made the picture and said that her favourite part was the fluttering butterflies.

We really enjoyed asking our classmates questions about their objects, so if you have anything interesting you have done at home or an achievement you are really proud of and would like to share don't forget you can bring it in to class too!
